Wheres the best brunch in the Slope? Preferably with an outside and somewhere that can handle a decent number of people... like 5-10.

Re: Brunch!
Mon, July 25, 2005 - 2:52 AMalmost all the good spots have small outdoor patios that you could probably try to reesrve if you're really 10 people. Dizzys, Belleville and I think Moutarde does too. Two Boots is a really fun brunch and they're huge.
No outdoor seating, but Beso opens their entire front wall like a garage door on weekends. The only thing with that is they get a huge line of people waiting to eat (ive literally seen 15 people standing outside waiting for various tables).. so they're standing over you while you eat. And Drooling. Such a creative, south American inspired food, and I think the brunch is a great combo of interesting spices on well prepared standard brunch fare, and then some. -

Tue, July 26, 2005 - 6:12 AMTwo Boots is my favorite and there's rarely a wait for a table at brunchtime. They have an excellent fried-oyster po' boy. There do tend to be lots of kids. -

Wed, July 27, 2005 - 2:35 PMooh, where is two boots again? I can't remember.
I ate at a Fort Greene place on Myrtle that was quite good. Homemade cornbeef hash! And biscuits too. Maggie Brown's is the name. Check it out, though it'd be a bit of a bike ride for the Slopers.

Wed, August 3, 2005 - 12:13 PMMy legs and ass are sore...
that damned hill at the end of the ride.
I'm sure running stairs at work tonight will help me though. -

Re: Brunch!
Wed, August 3, 2005 - 12:16 PMYeah, that hill's at the middle of the ride for me--I gotta believe it's my bike--but it's pretty embarassing watching little 12-year-olds speed up past me when I'm about to faint. -
